This was a challenging and rewarding experience that pushed my skills in network enumeration, privilege escalation, and real-world exploitation scenarios. Grateful for the hands-on learning and excited to apply these skills in future engagements.
Orion (Completed 24 May 2025)
It was a hands-on cybersecurity lab where I practised skills like finding system weaknesses (enumeration), using public exploits, gaining admin access (privilege escalation), and moving across networks (pivoting and lateral movement). It also covered Active Directory, which many organisations use. There’s still a lot more to learn, but this was a solid step forward in my journey.
Zephyr (Completed 06 Sep 2025)
Over the past week, I’ve been pentesting the Active Directory environment Prolab Zephyr as part of my preparation for the CPTS exam. To be honest, I leaned on the official walkthrough quite a bit, but I learnt a lot along the way. It was challenging, but the knowledge gained and the certificate of completion made the effort well worthwhile.
